For the past 11 years, I have worked with rural communities of the Maldives doing whatever small contribution I could to bring a smile to the faces of those desperate islanders. I have worked both with government and civil society organisations. I am currently working as the Executive Director of Maldives NGO Federation and the Chief Executive of ENSURE (national NGO working for the rights of children and women) and a founder of Maavahi (an environmental NGO from Addu Atoll, apart from my formal job.
